Not all cats are grey
Contrary to what Robert Smith says, not all cats are grey. Mine definitely wasn't! He looked like a killer whale and had the size of one. He will never be forgotten. The new kids on the block are black as the night and tabby respectively. This blog contains my ramblings about them, running and life in general. I can't promise that any of it makes sense.

Sick... again
The week started well running wise: 19k in 2:06 hours. And I had plans for the weekend. Then, Friday morning I woke up coughing. On my way to work I bought some medicine, hoping that it would not be too late. But just after lunch I had to go home. I had fever and felt §$%&. Today the fever is down, but I am still coughing like an old man with a history of smoking. So no way can I excersise. Looks like the God of Marathons is not smiling on me this year.

The cat in the hat
It's Karneval. I was planning to dress as a Mexican and had my costume ready, but work got in the way. But the hat got used nevertheless...
To give you an idea of size (both of the hat and the cat), here is another one with my mobile phone on it...
And yes, I know the carpet is ugly. It has been replaced by a nice round dark red one, that was birthday present from my parents. Unfortunately, Mr Cat things it is his new horizontal scratching post. I fear it won't grow old. Sorry, Mum and Dad!

One year closer to 40
Another birthday has come and gone. Do I feel different? No. It was a §$%& day at work, but a very nice evening. Thank you all for messages, present or just being there. It's appreciated. Lots.

Virus attack
The Norwalk virus that is going round Germany has paid me a visit too. I got off lightly with only bad nights and no sympthoms during the day. My medicin collection is now almost as impressive as Mr Cat's.
Back to bed now, more when the virus has left the building for good.
